Graduated from İstanbul University, Faculty of Poetry, Geography Section.
After getting her masters degree from İstanbul University, Institute of Marine Sciences & Geography, Geomorphology Section, she has also got her doctors degree from İstanbul University Institute of Social Sciences, Physical Geography Section.
