Born in İstanbul, Turkey in 1959.
She has a masters degree from Milwaukee State University & PHD from Istanbul University, Faculty of Physics, Physiology. ( She had been painting during all this period of education & career)
She uses her own technique that is a combination of her imaginations, comments & "tezhib" that is a traditional Turkish-Islamic art.
She has 3 personal exhibitions, also 11 multipersonal exhibitions.
What makes her artworks special is; the artist does not use any kind of liquid paints or brushes; but special coloured pens. This is a technique of her own & she calls this technique "nev-kalemkari"; that has a meaning of "neo-penmastery".
