Munire Ozbey started painting artworks in Ankara, where she has been born; at the studios of Turkish master level artists like Kayıhan Keskinok, Yaşar Çallı, Haluk Evitan. She made porcelain paintings in Belgium. Munire Ozbey who has opened her 12th personal exhibition, never identifies herself as a member of any art trend; she has a unique style of painting, she uses colours & sketches in a valiant way. Not only temporary houses, trees, streets; but in her paintings we are able to see her personal comments of human with these themes.
She is also the author of a book called "Geride Resimler Kaldı" (Paintings are Left Back) that is printed in 2003. She is still working on her 2nd book.
