The artist who was in İnebolu district in Kastamonu, Turkey in 1946, has taken a military education. After many years as a pilot of Turkish Air Force in Turkey & abroad, he has retired from the army in 1990. After retiring from the army he worked as a captain-pilot for civilian airline companies in Turkey.
He has taken the first steps of art & painting education from his father Rıdvan Dikmen who was a student of famous Turkish artist Hikmet Onat. Recently, he has studied aquarell with Işıl Özışık, Saim Altuncu, Atanas Matsoureff & oil colur painting with Mustafa Özel. The artist is a member of ArtIstanbul Union of Watercolour.
