Handan Vardar, who is the first "Hunting Birds' Painter of Turkey", has met hunting 35 years ago, at the beginning of her marriage with Inan Vardar, who is an experienced nature observer & hunter. As a result of this interest; the main theme of her ceramics & paintings has become "the hunting birds".
The artist, who is the mother of two children, lives & works on art in Eskişehir, Turkey. Her next theme of painting seems to be "The Hunting Mammals of Turkey".
